Catalysts for MTBE cracking

Catalysts for MTBE cracking to isobutene are a series of supported solid acid catalysts. Yanshan branch, BRICI began the research of the catalysts in 1981. The catalyst was first industrialized in 1992, and has been commercially used for many times:

Reaction temperature:································································· 170~230℃

Reaction pressure:································································· ··0.4~0.6 MPa

LHSV (v/v)···················································································2.5~3h-1

Reaction phase:············································································Gas-solid

MTBE conversion:·············································································≥ 95%

Isobutene selectivity:········································································· ≥99%

Methanol selectivity:·········································································· ≥98%
